My Boyfriend Was Right when He Said You Need Fast Internet to Play Games

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year, and this past week we decided to move in together. Neither one of us has lived with a significant other before, so we had to decide what kind of changes we need to make. Because we were moving into my place, my guy told me that we needed to look into DSL in Montpelier where I live. I kept trying to hold off because I assumed my Internet service was fast enough and I already had a monthly fee that I was comfortable with. But once he moved in, I quickly learned why he was so firm about me getting faster service.

My guy loves video games. He has played them for many years, and he loves to relax with his friends and play them. But he had never played them at my house because my Internet is not very fast. I always thought he was making excuses, but it turns out that I assumed incorrectly.

A couple of nights after he settled into my place, one of his buddies came over and they tried to play a video game on his computer. I could see the screen freeze up often, and his character in the game froze up a lot. Wow, I feel so that bad that I did not get better service much sooner for him! Maybe he would have spent more time at my place if I had done so.

I apologized and quickly gave him the go ahead to call the company I am with now and get an upgrade. He did so that very night, and someone came out from the company and gave us a new router and got us all set up just days later. Now that my boyfriend is playing games at our house, he has now helped me to become interested in playing them with him, too. It’s a lot of fun.

Local CenturyLink Broadband Makes Everyone in the House Happy

My kids were complaining about our Internet service. The holidays added two more laptops and two more tablets to our already strained bandwidth. I was okay with their complaining until my wife started in. When your wife complains, you do something about it. If you have teens or preteen kids, you probably have already learned how to ignore their complaining since they were five. With our Internet service being so slow I checked online to see what the local CenturyLink broadband connection would cost. Our old DSL had outlived its usefulness to us as a bandwidth hungry family who is always online.

I looked at what we had connected to our Internet. Except for one desktop connected with an Ethernet cable, everything was connected wirelessly to our router that was connected to the broadband DSL modem. We had two desktops, four laptops, four tablets, four smartphones, five security cameras and the satellite TV box all connected to the Internet. Well, that was what I remembered until the kids were playing the game console. Then I realized that we had two of those connected wirelessly to the Internet as well. That is a lot of data going back and forth over an Internet connection. No wonder it was slow.

My casual use of social media and light browsing was not usually a problem for me. However, when my wife told me she could not stream her favorite TV show she watches when she is riding the exercise bike, I looked online for local CenturyLink to switch to a faster Internet service for our home. I figure that my wife has to put up with the kids more hours per day than I do so I better listen when she complains about anything. We had new Internet service a couple of days later and now everyone is happy in the house.

Best Security Systems Near Olive Branch

After buying a new house, I have been trying to think of different things that I need to get done. I know that having a new house is a big deal, and I have already taken care of a lot of things. I just had a home owner’s insurance policy put on the house. That was one of the first things I needed to get done. Now, I need to get a security system for the house. That is one of my top priorities, and I need info on olive branch security services and companies that install home security systems in this area.

I have never had a home security system before, but my wife has convinced me that it is a good idea. Especially, since we have a new house. Our old house was not very impressive, and I am not sure that anyone would have bothered breaking into it, just based on its appearance. This new house, looks several times nicer than the one we used to live in. To be fair, this is a new house though, and the house we used to live in, was built by my father a long time ago. Hopefully, we will be able to sell that house at some point, but I don’t really expect to get very much money for it.

I am hoping to get a quote on a security system. That is one of the first things that I am interested in finding out. I have to figure out if I have enough money to get this installed right now. I might have to wait until my next paycheck, or put it on a credit card. I would prefer to not put it on a credit card, but I know that my wife really wants to get a security system installed soon.

Figuring out What Sort of House I Can Afford

Of course in theory it is not that hard to figure out what sort of house payment you can afford. In my case it is roughly what I am paying in rent now, but the problem is that you have to come up with a big down payment and you have to convince a bank to lend you the hundred thousand dollars that you need. Then you have to pay the home insurance companies for home insurance, which you are required to have if you borrow the money to get a house. It is a lot tougher to figure out all of the little details that you have to figure out to know what you can afford. There is more to it than just the house payment itself. In effect you have to think about what it will cost you to get in the house after you buy it as well. The big thing is that I will not have the luxury of cutting it too close it seems.

For example let’s say that I save up all of the money I need for a down payment and the money I would need to get a house ready for me to move in. I would still need to keep some money in reserve for the just in case scenario. That is for example like a big car repair bill. It is not a big deal for a car repair shop to charge you a thousand dollars or fifteen hundred dollars to do repairs on the car. In fact it could be just about any seemingly minor thing and it can be hundreds of dollars in repair bills. It does not have to be a blown engine or a transmission going out on you. That sort of thing is what you have to be ready to deal with.
